ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE LUBBOCK FIBERMAX CENTER FOR DISCOVERY, LUBBOCK, TEXAS
What began as the Lubbock County Historical Collection in 1969, has grown in an educational and historic center for agriculture. Our center combines unique artifacts with technology to tell the past, present and future of farming, and serves as a memorial to the thousands of pioneering farm families that helped settle this area. As a private nonprofit, we depend on the support of individuals and corporations to succeed. This is our 14th A Night for the Museum and we’re glad glad you’re here. Check out our sponsors, bid in the auction, complete the virtual scavenger hunt, and tell your friends. Thank you for your support.
THINGS TO KNOW
Tell me more about the event!
A Night for the Museum featuring Marcus Hill of Ag Workers Auto Insurance is our 14th large-scale fundraising dinner to support the FiberMax Center for Discovery. You’ll enjoy a silent auction, live music, a catered dinner and a keynote address while hanging out with 1100 of your friends. Some have even called it the “Ag Prom.” This year, we welcome back Lubbock County Judge Curtis Parrish, as our master of ceremonies. Come listen to Lone Prairie and have a drink and appetizer while you check out the auction. Dinner service will start around 7:00PM.
What should I wear?
Not formal or semi-formal: We call it business country casual, where jeans are always acceptable. This is cotton country after all. A button-down shirt or sports jacket is great, but ties are not necessary. Women usually wear casual dresses, pants, boots, or sandals. Dress for a good time.
How do I register for the auction?
Text ANFTM to 243725 to make a bidding account or click the “Sign In” button at the top right of the auction website. The auction will close at 8:00PM and checkout will begin at the conclusion of the program. If you need assistance, call or text 806-790-9913.
